Africa November 2026
Join us on
another one of our incredible Africa Expeditions. This time we are changing up the Safari and exploring an area of Kenya Kristen and Paul love. Right in the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro is Amboseli National Park. We will start our Safari there after a night in Nairobi. Staying at the Porini Camps we will have 3 nights in Porini Amboseli. Amboseli is known for masses of Elephants and offers a great chance to get gorgeous photographs of the animals with the snows of Kilimanjaro in the background on a clear day. Last time in Amboseli Kristen and Paul saw hunting lions, cheetah, ostrich with babies, loads of herd animals.
After 3 wonderful nights in Amboseli we fly onto the Maasai Mara for 3 nights at Porini Lion camp. We have used Porini Lion camp for many years because of the incredible density of cats found in the conservancy there. We frequently see Lions, Leopards and Cheetah close to the camp as well as Serval cats and occasionally Genet cats. These animals prey on large herds of Wildebeast, Zebra, Buffalo, Hippos, Giraffe, Impala, and Gazelles that litter the landscape.
We will spend a day at the Masaai Mara national park including visiting the famous river for breakfast. This will give you a chance to see the enormous Nile Crocodiles and lots of Hippos. If we are lucky we may see a few animals crossing the river.
After 3 days in the Mara we will fly up to Nairobi for lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant before transferring to the Airport to fly to the beautiful island of Zanzibar for 7 incredible nights of relaxation and diving.
Zanzibar is an incredible place with a massively diverse history as well as beautiful white sandy beaches. We will be exploring the reefs of the South East of the island where Paul and Kristen used to live and work. That area of Zanzibar has some incredible marine life to see including Frog Fish, Rhinopias, Seahorses, Nudibranchs, as well as big schools of fish. The reefs are in great condition with very few divers in the area to get in our way this is an incredible dive trip for any level of diver.
Come and join us to explore this incredible area of the World.
DIVE AND TRIP INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
All divers participating in the Seminole Scuba International Travel Trips are required to show proof of current dive accident insurance from a recognized and reputable carrier. Evacuation coverage must be included in your policy.
We highly recommend that you purchase trip insurance as well to help recoup non-refundable deposits and trip costs in the event that you need to cancel your reservation. Some locations require this but we suggest it for all our clients as we travel to remote locations.
Diver’s Alert Network offers both Travel and Dive Accident Insurance and are our recommended option. You can use the links below to obtain these options.
