Indonesia and the Banda Sea November 2028

Indonesia is known to be some of the best if not the best diving in the World. We have been many times and can never get enough. This is a new area to us, The Banda Sea.

Prepare to be amazed as we navigate the Banda Sea, exploring a string of remote islands teeming with marine wonders. This unforgettable liveaboard diving adventure kicks off in Ambon, where you’ll embark on Indo Master and complete a check dive to ensure everything is shipshape.

Our journey begins at Pulau Suanggi, where vibrant coral reefs teeming with colourful fish await. Prepare for dazzling walls, swim-throughs, and encounters with a remarkable array of marine life. Next, we set course for Manuk Island, a haven for curious olive and banded sea snakes. Keep your eyes peeled in the blue for majestic manta rays and hammerhead sharks cruising by.

Unforgettable experiences continue at Nil Desperandum and Serua. Although not guaranteed, adrenaline-pumping encounters with hammerhead sharks are a distinct possibility at Serua’s “Jackpot” dive site.

Returning to Manuk Island, we explore a different facet of its underwater world. Keen muck divers will be in their element, uncovering an incredible diversity of macro life, with the possibility of spotting the mesmerizing Mandarin fish.

And no Banda Sea expedition is complete without a visit to the Banda Islands. Immerse yourself in the region’s rich history before diving into vibrant coral gardens teeming with life.

This trip will give you the chance to explore a very little-known area of Indonesia and see lots of the fantastic marine life it has to offer. Due to the Exploratory nature of the trip all divers must be at least Advanced Open Water with Nitrox and 40 logged dives.

DIVE AND TRIP INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

All divers participating in the Seminole Scuba International Travel Trips are required to show proof of current dive accident insurance from a recognized and reputable carrier. Evacuation coverage must be included in your policy.

We highly recommend that you purchase trip insurance as well to help recoup non-refundable deposits and trip costs in the event that you need to cancel your reservation. Some locations require this but we suggest it for all our clients as we travel to remote locations.

Diver’s Alert Network offers both Travel and Dive Accident Insurance and are our recommended option. You can use the links below to obtain these options.
