NSS-CDS Basic Cave Diver Course
In this course you will be introduced with limits to the unique facets of cave diving through interactive “classroom” sessions, field exercises and cave dives. With thoughtful integration and a positive, cooperative attitude your confidence and your skills are sure to develop. Dives are planned without decompression and kept simple avoiding complex navigation. The course is intended to only introduce the skills, dive planning, emergency procedures and problem solving needed to dive in the unique cave environment safely. At this level the highest emphasis is placed on safety, accident analysis and conservation - not distance or speed. There is also importance placed on “learning the cave” so take your time and marvel at these beautiful passages! Few people can say they have dived inside the earth.
