Africa Trip 2019
This Seminole Scuba Safari and diving trip will take you on game drives through some of the most famous parks in Tanzania; Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti. In Tarangire you can expect large herds of elephants and buffalo along with other animal and bird sightings. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world, raising 2286 meters above sea level, with walls rising up to 610 meters from the crater floor, Ngorongoro is known for having the most densely packed concentration of wildlife in Africa. Serengeti in the Masai language means “endless plains” which describes the 6000 square mile park perfectly. The variety of wildlife in the Serengeti is endless, and on your game drives you should see the ‘Big Five’ (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino) as well as huge herds of zebra and wildebeest.
After an eventful safari we will board our planes to Arusha and then on to Zanzibar before we get settled on the south-east coast of the island and enjoy a weeks’ worth of diving in the azure waters of the Indian Ocean. During our stay in Zanzibar we will have an opportunity to visit the Unesco World heritage site Stone Town and take in some amazing diving. On our latest trip we saw many things such as; Turtles, Grouper, Frogfish, Nudibranchs, Big Schools of fish, Rays, Napoleon Wrasse and Dolphins.
