Our group of 16 has just returned from a 10-day liveaboard on the Indo Siren in Raja Ampat. It was an exceptional trip. Sailing aboard a true Phinisi style wooden ship, the team enjoyed picturesque scenery that seemed untouched. Some of the underwater sightings included Tasseled Wobbegong Sharks, the Epaulette Shark species only found in Raja Ampat, pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefish, orangutan crabs, and nudibranchs in every size, shape and color!

Many enjoyed 4 dives per day and a few off-ship excursions. One day we visited a lookout point that allowed a bird’s eye view of just a slice of the hundreds of thousands of miles of protected marine sanctuary! Another day we snorkelled through a huge cave that was full of stalactites and stalagmites and is untouched by people. 

The liveaboard lifestyle is something many of us could get used to: dive, eat, sleep, repeat! We will definately be going back to Raja Ampat and Indonesia. This was our 2nd trip there and not our last. Raja Ampat is one of the top rated dive locations in the World and we would agree from our trips. The Indo Siren is also a great way to see the best of what Raja has to offer.
